2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon Edition

Designed exclusively for FIAT Brand’s partnership with BCRF, the new 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon limited-edition model features several exclusive design elements that highlight the Cinquecento’s iconic silhouette.

Based on the highly stylized 2012 Fiat 500 Lounge model, the Pink Ribbon limited-edition is available in Argento (silver) and Bianco (white) exterior paint colors and features a signature dark pink bodyside stripe with “500″ logo and an accenting “ribbon” in light pink.

The interior of the Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon adds to the 500 Lounge model’s already stylish interior with unique pink accents contrasting the Nero (black) interior. Highlighting this limited-edition model are Nero leather front and rear seats with pink accent stitching on the perimeter and signature “500″ logo embroidered on the front seatbacks and a pink ribbon embroidered on the floor mats. For added detail, pink accents are hand-stitched through the Nero leather steering wheel and provide additional contrast in front of the body-color instrument panel bezel.

And to match this specially appointed Cinquecento, a pair of uniquely designed Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon key fobs provide customers with a personal reminder of the FIAT Brand and BCRF’s partnership to find a cure.

Only 250 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon limited-edition models will be available at FIAT Studios nationwide in October. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of the 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon is $22,500 (including $500 destination). For more information, visit www.fiatusa.com/500PinkRibbon.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe 2012

At the front, the new coupé shares the same styling as the latest C-Class and yet still has its own twist. The front view is dominated by the prominent radiator grille surround including the bumper. The centre air intake opens upwards, forming a visual base unit for the radiator grille which has the double-louvre style typical of a coupé. Two chrome louvres extend left and right either side of the central star, tapering off at the outer edges and creating a sporty, arrow-shaped horizontal sweep which gives the front end a pronounced V-shape

This continues into the side sections which extend from beneath the headlamps and blend into the feature lines along the vehicle flanks, thereby linking the front end with the sides. The side air intakes in the bumper featuring integrated, horizontal daytime running lamps are positioned low down, giving the coupé a road-hugging appearance. The shape of the clear-lens headlamps creates a dynamic impression, and acts together with the bonnet, radiator grille and bumper trim to reinforce the pronounced front section.

From the rear, the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé looks sportily short. Because the roof flows beyond the rear axle with the steeply raked rear window and fluid C-pillars, the appearance of length is reduced. A wide chamfer at the top of the boot lid, which is based on the side panel, highlights the rear’s compactness. Positioning the tail lights as far apart as possible emphasises width. The particular impression of depth is achieved by a centrally located LED indicator, which appears to float in front of the red upper and lower light bands with their more deeply set LEDs. Continuous, horizontal light-catching contours in the bumper further accentuate the broad, deep-set effect. The AMG rear skirt between the exhaust system’s tailpipe trim makes the rear end look lighter and gives the vehicle a distinctively sporty and dynamic quality.

In the UK the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé will feature the AMG Sports Package as standard which further enhances the look of the car with AMG bodystyling and 18″ AMG alloys.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé features a new telematics generation which received its global premiere on the saloon and estate models. Major new features include greater operating convenience, larger displays, phone book transfer, display of SMS messages, wireless music reproduction via Bluetooth and a USB interface now accommodated in the centre armrest.

There is a choice of three petrol engines and two diesel powerplants to power the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé. All are equipped with direct injection and the ECO start/stop function as standard. All the engine variants are classed as BlueEFFICIENCY units, showing that they are particularly efficient and environmentally friendly in their use of fuel. All automatic versions feature the further-enhanced 7G?TRONIC PLUS seven-speed automatic transmission (standard with the C 250 and C 350 petrol engines). The C 220 CDI and C 250 CDI diesel variants and the basic C 180 petrol engine come with a six-speed manual transmission as standard.

The top engine variant is the V6 petrol engine in the C 350 BlueEFFICIENCY featuring the efficient BlueDIRECT method of injection. It delivers 306 hp and 370 Nm. Average fuel consumption is 41.5 mpg. The four-cylinder petrol engines have direct injection and are turbocharged, offering high performance and exemplary economy.

The most economical coupé model is the C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with manual six-speed transmission and the standard ECO start/stop function. It has an average diesel consumption of 64.2 mpg. This corresponds to 117 grams of CO2 per kilometre. The C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY contents itself with a combined diesel consumption of just 57.6 mpg. This corresponds to CO2 emissions of 128 grams per kilometre.

In the economical Green Tec version average consumption is 4.2l/100km and 4.3l/100km respectively. Emissions are 97g and 99g CO2/km respectively. For the first time in a Škoda vehicle, the designers have used a Head-Thorax side airbag to protect the heads of both the driver and the front seat passenger and together with other elements it forms an exemplary safety packet in its class. In addition, active safety is significantly enhanced by the new “City Safe Drive” brake assistant. The system is automatically activated at speeds below 30 km/h and a laser sensor identifies a danger of collision.

The Skoda Citigo will debut on the domestic Czech market by the end of 2011. Other European countries will follow at the beginning of summer 2012. The Škoda Citigo offers maximum utilisation of space and seats for four passengers. The Škoda Citigo will be launched as a three-door, with a five-door version to come in 2012.

KICHERER SLS Roadster Supersport GT/R 2011

The KICHERER SLS Roadster Supersport GT/R is based on the Mercedes-Benz SLS-Class. For this KICHERER created and mounted a sporty front spoiler, side skirts and a specially hand-made GT front grill. More accents are provided by the small aerodynamic fins that can be mounted on the bonnet and on the wings. A further highlight on the sports car is provided by the three-part 20 inch RS-1 lightweight complete wheels. The classic double-spoke design harmonises perfectly with the equally classic sports car silhouette of this retro-sports car.

On the rear of the car a stainless steel exhaust with four oval endpipes controlled by dynamic pressure sonorously allows the exhaust fumes out into the open. An integrated valve control gives the driver – depending on the occasion – the opportunity of choosing between a sonorous and discrete tone.

The KICHERER developers have also tightened the performance screw a little and , thanks to the sports air filter exclusive to KICHERER, managed to achieve an actual every day performance of 630 PS – instead of the standard 571 PS. Those who like it even more sporty can order the second performance level. This possesses in addition an exhaust manifold system and a sports catalysor that combined with the modification from the first level guarantee a top performance of 650 PS at 720 Nm torque.

This means the open air KICHERER SLS Roadster Supersport GTR sprints to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaches a sealed-off top speed of 320 km/h.

Carlsson smart fortwo coupe 2011

At the front, the two black grille inserts made of powder-coated stainless steel above and below the number plate add a touch of individuality. The Carlsson LED daytime running lights have been approved not only as daytime running lights but also as sidelights, meaning that they may be used together with the low-beam lights. The conversion of the exterior is completed by the Carlsson front spoiler and the rear skirt extension made of high-quality polyurethane. The extension comprises the Carlsson sport rear silencer, completely made of stainless steel, with its four round tail-pipes which gives the Carlsson Smart a sonorous sound.

On the car unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, Carlsson also presents for the first time the new wheel 1/6 Revo. These particularly light rims are offered in the dimensions 6,5 x 17 on the front and 7,5 x 17 inches on the rear axle, underlining the vehicle’s sportiness. In addition to this, the Carlsson sport lowering kit lowers the car by 15 millimetres at the front and 35 millimetres at the rear which accentuates the Smart’s athletic character.

For the interior, the driver and passenger seat are covered with quilted Nappa leather including embroidered Carlsson logos in the backrests. The steering wheel, the dashboard topside and the door panels are refined with finest Nappa leather, whereas the kneepad, headliner, sunblinds, pillars, instrument topside and glove compartment cover are made of Alcantara. The automobile manufacturer also installs a gear knob in Nappa leather including a laser cut Carlsson logo as well as the Carlsson aluminium handbrake lever with boot in Nappa leather. A set of Carlsson floor mats and a trunk floor mat made of soft velours carrying the Carlsson logo as well as a high-quality aluminium pedal set complete the Carlsson interior refinement.
