The First Cabin Booked On Royal Princess!

Following on from my article last week, last Thursday the inaugural voyage of the Royal Princess went on sale. As I mentioned in my previous blog, voyages on new ships are always very busy, and if you don't act quick enough, you will probably be left paying a higher price. This is where experience really plays it's part. Thirty seconds after the cruise going on sale, we had secured one of our clients a cabin on board this voyage. This may not sound like anything spectacular in itself, but as it turns out this cabin, was the first cabin in the UK to be booked on this ship EVER

The point I am trying to make, is that 20 minutes after this ship went on sale the prices went up! Not only did we secure the cruise at the right price, we were quicker than anybody else. You may think that this will not make any difference, but for sailings like QE2's final voyage, being too slow may mean a price increase of hundreds of pounds, or even worse missing out all together!

For anybody thinking about pre-registering a cruise please give me a call. All P and O, Princess and Cunard Itineraries will be released on Friday, with the view to go on general sale mid April. If you are looking for free kids places, a Med cruise or just a holiday let me know and I am sure we can find something suited to you.
