Find Your Perfect Scent at Sephora's Sensorium

When you hear about a new hot-spot in the Meatpacking District, your first thought is “restaurant or club?” A neighborhood known for its late-night attractions just got a new unexpected hot spot: Sephora’s Sensorium. Open only in the afternoons, this renovated space just blocks from Sephora’s new store is a must-see, or smell, exhibit.

The interactive exhibition has everything from a history of perfume timeline, sensory deprivation booths, and our favorite, the Fragrance Bar. Test your sniffing skills in a blind testing of scents, then take the blindfold off and choose from the sparkling bottles beneath campaign displays featuringNatalia Vodianova for Calvin Klein Euphoria, Chanel Iman for DKNY Be Delicious and Sasha Pivovarova for Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy.

Located at 414 W. 14 St., and open in the afternoons until 6 p.m., this is one hot spot that you should get to early. Walk-ins are welcome or you can schedule an appointment online atsephora.com/go/sensorium. You pay a well-worth-it $15 entrance fee, but your stub can be redeemed for an equal price gift certificate to Sephora at the end, which we put towards a new fragrance! The exhibit requires about thirty minutes to complete, but you may find you loose track of time in this interactive scentsory experience. —Nikita Swatkowski
