Choosing Miss Dim

Beauty pageants have nothing to do with modeling. You don’t have to look anorexic, just usually being tall is required. But the most important criterion is charisma. It’s not enough to be just pretty, one has to be the best! This contest is called Miss Dim, are you interested in what’s going on backstage?

This is not just a contest, it is rather a really spectacular show. 23 girls from different regions of Russia take part in it.
The pageant itself lasts for 3 weeks. All this time the contestants live together in a hotel. The barmen is told not to sell any alcohol or chocolate to them. Besides, the parents are not allowed to visit girls and the discipline is really strict. The one who wins the contest gets about 10000 dollars and gets a right to represent this company for a year. Also there are some other nominations like “Miss Internet”.
Speaking about discipline, girls are to get up at 8 o’clock, then have breakfast. After that they are to do some aerobics, have a shower and then – 3 hours of fashion parade practice. Then lunch, an hour’s rest and practicing again. Supper – practice – swimming pool. At 11 p.m. they are supposed to go to bed.
And, naturally girls also have lots of photoshoots, dinners with celebrities, campaigns, etc. Booklets with their photographs are issued.
Before having breakfast it is necessary to weigh oneself, because if you gain more than 2 or 3 kilos you are likely to be dismissed.
All of the girls taking part have all sorts of titles – Miss Ufa, Miss South, etc. And at this one, for example the girl on the left-hand side is also a girlfriend of one of the richest people in the world.
